Meeting in Sydney in 1977, X released their seminal debut album X-Aspirations in 1980, which cemented them as inspirations in Australian punk-rock history and earned them a place in the book 100 Best Australian Albums. Now – with the help of Love Addicts’ Kim Volkman and Hunters & Collectors’ Doug Falconer – the last original living member Steve Lucas shall be bringing the power and classic attitude of X back to the stage once more.
X will also be bringing with them a brand-new, very limited edition vinyl collectors release X-citations: Best Of X – The Early Years 1977-82. The best-of album represents the no-holds-barred pub-rock spirit of X, with classics and rarities both hand-picked and passionately put together by Lucas himself.
