2 years in the making, Wybie will be storming The Gaso bandroom for a very special celebration of their debut album 𝙒𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙙𝙨 in a full band frenzy.

Wybie is the uninhibited DIY freak-folk project of Kyle Muir; guitarist, producer and songwriter. Wybie’s harmonious yet wonky music has been likened to artists like Cass McCombs, Alex G and Joni Mitchell. Their kinky indie-rock draws from music all over the globe.
Akin to a twisted kids book, 𝙒𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙙𝙨 is a follow up to their EP Wybie’s Mansion. This 9-track excursion is an “alluring sonic universe” [Trouble Juice] that ventures through soundscapes from brooding and tumultuous to all-out “hypnotic bliss” [HUM zine].

Joining Wybie will be HANNAH CAMERON
Raised in the sunny streets of Meanjin, now living above a shop in Melbourne, Hannah Cameron is renowned for her ability to knock the wind out of you with her muscular guitar and a voice that could melt tar. There’s an unwavering strength to her poetry, matched by the weighty warmth of a baritone Gretsch, and an effortless complexity to her craft. Whether singing about conversations that never go the way we want them to, or tax, teaching and other people’s problems, she sings with a profound clarity and driving energy of someone who’s spent years honing their craft.
