Wybie

Not only are the Wybie band back in all of their 5-piece glory BUT they come bearing gifts. The gift being π™Žπ™šπ™˜π™€π™£π™™π™¨ – the first single from the upcoming debut Wybie album.
β€˜Seconds’ is a journey by rickety cart through a dark graveyard. It’s the song that your grandparents always warned you about – ‘But Grandma there aren’t any swear words!’
Wybie, the brainchild of guitarist, producer and songwriter Kyle Muir, is an exploration into song craft with a DIY attitude. The 5-piece band plays wonky folk-rock that is influenced by an abundance of styles including Jazz, West African music and Irish folk music. Their sound has been likened to artists such as Cass McCombs, Joni Mitchell and Radiohead.
Joining them will be George&Ivy – Australian indie folk project led by bassist Sam Anning.
This event will take place on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri people. Wybie, George&Ivy and the Wesley Anne pay their respects to elders past present and emerging. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
