Woodford Folk Festival has revealed its 38th edition lineup spanning 27 December to 1 January.
The six-day gathering transforms Woodfordia in the Moreton Bay region into a sprawling village of music, culture and community, with tickets now available. Electric Fields, Troy Cassar-Daley, Sarah Blasko, Budjerah, Hollow Coves, BARKAA, Lior, KUČKA, Birdz and Fred Leone headline the bill alongside San Cisco, Briggs, Mama Kin Spender, Gordi, Dizzy Days, Beddy Rays and C.W. Stoneking.
Woodford Folk Festival brings together Australian artists with international acts including South African singer Msaki, Canadian performer Richard Wood, Kenyan percussionist Kasiva Matua and Scottish folk trio Talisk. The program spans more than 1,500 performances and workshops across the festival grounds, from trapeze with The Stunned Mullets to comedy sets by Otto & Astrid and traditional rhythms from Papua New Guinea’s Ambum Cultural Group.

Around 100,000 people are expected across the six days, with 25,000 campers and glampers staying on-site at Tent City and Pitch Luxury’s bell tent village. The Tinlids Children’s Festival returns with dirtgirlworld alongside an expanded program of activities for younger festival-goers, while the lake remains open for cooling off between sets.
The festival wraps on New Year’s Eve before continuing through New Year’s Day with the Renewal Ceremony. Through its staging, Woodfordia temporarily becomes the 67th largest town in Australia, delivering an estimated $28.35 million boost to the region with approximately 165,000 direct visitor nights.
Woodford Folk Festival is supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland and Arts Queensland. The event takes place on Jinibara Country, with single-day and multi-day passes available through payment plans.
