The Prince Bandroom’s events list may be short this month, but it’s oh so sweet.
In September, the St Kilda institution Prince Bandroom is hosting four of the best from all corners of the globe, securing its status as an international hub in Melbourne. First, a Hong Kong-based genre-bender touches down, weaving unbelievable melodies in two languages. Next, a Filipino alt-rock five-piece that’s beloved at home and abroad.
Later in the month, it’s tribute time, with a massive show honouring one of the UK’s most unforgettable icons, featuring none other than a 10-piece band and an incredible American vocalist. And finally, it’s finishing off with a big themed party, equipped with costumes, visuals and crazy tunes all night long.
