How does a typical night of trivia go down at the Windsor Castle? There’s three rounds of ten questions, with our ever present music round in the middle. The other two rounds are usually general knowledge but we sometimes have specialty rounds like movies, Disney, sports and more suggested by the punters.
Who hosts your trivia, and what are they like? Our host is the inimitable Kieran O’Sullivan who’s done a bunch of stand-up. He’s also been DJing around town for over 15 years now, so you know his music round is top notch.
What prizes can people attending win? There’s massive bar tabs to be won. One-hundred dollars for our first-place team, $50 for our runner-up and $25 for our third-place team. But the real prize is the fun.
Does your venue have any food or drink specials on offer during the night? Our brilliant chef puts on some of the best free-range parmas in town for $18, not to mention delicious $5 tacos. To accompany these delights, the bar have $5 Tecate cans among all the other bountiful bevvies.
Tell us some other fun stuff about your night? Each week there’s a bonus point for the best team name, and if you’re ever unsure of an answer we encourage teams to have a guess or even just write something funny instead. If our host also finds it funny and reads it out, you’ll get the point.
