This month, Whitehart is the place to be for your Sunday Sesh. Once you’ve curbed the majority of your hangover from the night before, it’s time for a little hair of the dog and to sweat it out on the dance floor. Each session will feature a new live jazz act, including Lewho, Sakiko Goto, NHTV Trio and Lachlan Daff, so set a repeating event in your calendar and get on down.
Lixxxtrado
- Wednesday residency
Melbourne legend Lixxxtrado is hosting a residency at Whitehart every Wednesday. He’ll be bringing traces of his Brazilian roots and showcasing his incredible blend of Latin hip-hop that will have you dancing whether you like it or not (you will). You’ve got four chances to see him through September, so don’t miss out.
Inner Sanctuary

- Hosted by DJ JNETT and DJ Jimmy James
These guys will get you moving. Inner Sanctuary is back at Whitehart on every Thursday through September. If your Thursday isn’t going to plan, let Inner Sanctuary be your guide. You’ll be guaranteed a good time and very tasty drinks, Whitehart always has your back. Host DJ JNETT is a stalwart of the Australian dance scene, and with her incredible sets and unmatchable energy will pair perfectly with vinyl enthusiast DJ Jimmy James.
Genki

This genre-blender is carving out quite a name for himself throughout the Naarm Dance scene. Constantly putting forward astonishingly capable sets that offer something a little more culturally satisfying than most, DJ Genki will fit right in at Whitehart Bar. All that’s missing is you guys! Be sure to check his set out on September 3.
The Choobs

- With support from Ben Emes
Hailing from Kuala Lumpur is DJ and producing genius The Choobs, who will be lighting up Whitehart Bar on September 6. With him will be Ben Emes, an incredibly capable DJ in his own right, making for a combination that’ll make your Friday night.
Taijae and Amin Payne

These two powerhouses will be reuniting to bring one heck of a show to Whitehart Bar on September 7. The experienced combo will of course bring along with them a killer set-list and some impeccable vibes, so do your best to get down there!
House Inspection

Whitehart frequents House Inspection will be returning to bring more of the incredible tunes gig-goers have grown to love. With their typical RnB inflection pairing with the immensely talented saxophonist Sakiko Goto, as well as the traditional Sunday support in the form of the Hartbeats, this’ll be a groovy way to see out your weekend.
Paz

After a truly wicked single launch at Whitehart through August, Melbourne dance don Paz is returning to familiar ground this September. Bringing his signature style of head-spinning house, along with some new tracks, Paz will be primed to rock Whitehart. We thank you Paz, for your continued service to our nights out.

Yoohoo! Another banger of a night in store for you lot. On September 13, Whitehart Bar will proudly present Thy Love along with remix-maestro pHinioUS’s bunch of pals. Don’t miss out on a night full of tailfeather shaking.
Uncut Rhythm

- Support from Binofski and Mr. Pitiful
More Whitehart locals! After some knockout shows through August, Uncut Rhythm is returning with unbelievably capable support from Binofski and Mr. Pitiful. Having already united for a show in August, the performing chemistry of these three will be on full display come September 14, which promises to make for a cohesive night of trippy tunes and smooth moves. Get there!
Claddy and friends

- With the Hartbeats
Look, by this point, it’s halfway through September and Saturday night seems a dream. But fear not, Claddy’s back to help beat those Sunday scaries. If there was human personification of style and groove, Claddy is it. It’ll be a show full of amazing vibes and scintillating sets that you won’t want to miss. Enjoy!
Naru and DJ Chung

Naru and Chung have a September set to throw your way. DJ Naru will be showcasing their funk-infused 90s hip-hop that’ll be more than bolstered by the incredible DJ Chung. With more incredible DJ talent secured, Whitehart has truly set up a September to remember.
Colette

Melbourne DJ specialist Colette is at Whitehart this September. Frequently hopping around the city and providing perfect sets, she’ll be taking on our favourite rave container. It’ll be on a Friday night as well, meaning there’s no silly excuse like having to work in the morning.
Delight Records presenting Call It EP

- Call It by Keinewave EP launch
- Featuring Aaron Danks, Clickbait, Inuka and more
This will be huge! Whitehart Bar are hosting the launch event of Keinewave’s new EP Call It, and there’ll be a stacked line-up supporting the night. There’ll be funky grooves, undeniable house and break-beats that’ll have you jumping. We really can’t overstate how packed this lineup is, it’ll be the crown jewel of our September proceedings. Pretty please don’t miss it.
HDSNJMSJR

HDSNJMSJR, or Hudson James Jr. if you’re more of a vowel person, has a Sunday slot at Whitehart Bar. The DJ/Producer/genuine all-rounder is bringing his ‘aural escapades’ into the CBD, and we couldn’t be more grateful. So if you’re a fan of house music (of course you are), trot on down to Whitehart on September 22 to catch this legend in action.
DJ Ingrid

More DJ! Ingrid is also hitting up Whitehart in September. She’s a powerhouse of both the DJing and record industry and a gift to all music lovers. If you find yourself in the category of the latter, then this show is for you.
Ice Cream Sundays

It’s a house party! At Whitehart! And there’s ice cream (at least in the name)! Even if you don’t get your sugar fix, the sets will be sweet enough. They’ve already announced DJ talent P. DAZEY and have plenty more up their sleeves. We can’t wait to see you there.
SADIVA

We’re starting to see why Melbourne’s DJ scene is so unbelievably awesome. SADIVA is bringing a unique style of disc-spinning to Whitehart, promising to showcase her awesome brand of sample-based bops that’ll plaster a smile on your face. Another great opportunity to spice up your Saturdays with Whitehart.
Daffaduck
