For the third night in a row, MIFF becomes MMW with the Melbourne International Film Festival’s Music On Film program providing a fantastic visual accoutrement to the week’s live music programming. Tonight’s is a particularly fascinating documentary, Anonymous Club, covering the ups and downs of Courtney Barnett’s rise to superstardom.

Narrated by Barnett herself based on audio diary excerpts and shot on 16mm film, this is no standard music doco. This promises to be something truly special, and is well worth attending, with an introduction by director Danny Cohen himself, in person, before the screening.

Head to the MMW website for more info.
