CLOSED: We’re giving away 50 double passes to music poster expo Pasted and Wasted

Pasted and Wasted

Pasted and Wasted: Melbourne Music Poster Expo is being held in District X at the District Docklands from November 26, 2021 until January 31, 2022

Music posters are designed to be plastered on walls, and then later pasted over or thrown away. Pasted and Wasted: Melbourne Music Poster Expo is bringing these posters back to life, including the rarest, most iconic and historically significant items from the Nick Vukovic Collection.

The very breadth of the collection is attracting everyone from Baby Boomers to Gen Z. Whether you love music, the bands, the venues or the art, there is something for every member of the family. Over 800 original music posters are being exhibited, displaying the rarest, most iconic and historically significant items from one of the largest music poster collections.

Pasted and Wasted covers six decades of Music…from the Rebellious 60s to Livin’ in the 70s; from the sticky carpets of Pub Rock to the birth of Punk and Indie Music; from the many voices of Indigenous Protest Music to the rise of Grunge and Heavy Metal; culminating in the turn of the Century influence of technology, Aussie Hip Hop, and the impact of going digital. Old style or new, the breadth of this collection will attract everyone from Baby Boomers to Gen Z and Millennials.

We’ll be providing 50 lucky Beat readers with a double pass to attend the expo. All you have to do is tell us, in 25 words or less, what was your favourite gig of all time?

Competition closes Wednesday December 22. By entering, you agree to receive promotional collateral from Beat and competition partners. For more info, check out our privacy policy.
