To be based from our Albert Park headquarters, the Mushroom Group boasts a proud history and contains a number of companies, representing a wide variety of facets of the entertainment industry.
You would be working closely with our record labels (Liberation Music, Ivy League, Illusive Sounds, I Oh You, Liberator and Wunderkind) and other Mushroom Group companies including Frontier Touring, Premier Artists, Illusive Entertainment, Mushroom Marketing, Mushroom Publishing, Mushroom Venues amongst other clients within the Music & Entertainment Industry.
Required skills:
– Experience working with MVC – CakePHP highly advantageous
– Version controlling – especially through Subversion
– PHP, CSS, XHTML
– Creativity – visually and systematically
– Skilled and enthusiastic approach to UX/UI design focussed on progressive enhancement and responsive design
– Passion for emerging technologies; ensuring that new/existing projects are written for scalability and longevity
– Excellent communication skills, for working with internal and external clients, coupled with excellent spoken and written English
– Proficient Adobe Photoshop skills for web (essential) and print (favourable) (or equivalent)
– Front-end coding semantic HTML and CSS – with a keen interest in implementing emerging technologies (HTML5 and CSS3) where applicable
– Experience in responsive design
– Experience with XML, jQuery and jQuery UI
– WordPress template creation
– Familiarity with Linux CLI (SSH, bash, crons)
Experience with Apache troubleshooting and configuration (mod_rewrite, httpd.conf, .htaccess)
– Online mobile application development experience
– Content Management System design & development
– Experience with version controlling (SVN) and collaborative environments
– Other RDBMS experience looked upon favourably (MySQL, MSSQL)
