Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile have teamed up for their new Lotta Sea Lice LP, heralded by their first single, Over Everything.
The track sees the pair trade melodies and lyrics, with both of their idiosyncratic styles complimenting each other perfectly. The album also features contributions from Mick Turner and Jim White of the Dirty Three, Stella Mozgawa from Warpaint and Mick Harvey.
Further surprises on the record see Barnett and Vile take on each other’s tracks, with Vile delivering a version of Outta the Woodwork and Barnett serving up a version of Peepin’ Tomboy.
