Join supporters in Melbourne and around Australia on Sunday 17 September at Walk for Yes, a walk in support of the Yes vote in the upcoming Voice referendum.

Australians will head to the polls in just a matter of weeks and vote in a referendum that’s been 65,000 years in the making, asked to listen to Indigenous Australians, recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture, and protect their voices in Australia’s 122-year-old constitution.

The day will feature live performances from Peter Garrett, Mia Wray, Marlon Motlop and Spiderbait.

Walk for Yes

  • September 17 at 12pm – 2pm
  • State Library, 328 Swanston St

Support for an Indigenous Voice to Parliament has grown into a powerful movement of over 30,000 volunteers – one of the biggest grassroots movements Australia has ever seen. As the referendum gets closer and momentum builds, the Yes campaign is asking Australians to come together and show their support for recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the constitution through a Voice to Parliament.

The aim is to cut through noise and misinformation. Bring your friends and family. Walk Route: straight down Swanston Street to Federation Square
