Frankie Upstairs is proud to present an evening of beautiful live music from Vikaye, PemTheO.P and Emilia Fol.
Emilia Fol will open up the night with a set of beautiful acoustic originals. Spanish songstress of heartache Emilia Fol draws from art, mythology and the otherworldly to make sense of the pain that plagues the mortal world. With influence from her predecessors Jeff Buckley, Rosalia and Raveena, her silvery voice navigates through lavish soundscapes punctured by latin beats. Emilia stands as a beacon of empathy in the ocean of uncertainty, enchanting the lost souls who never made their way to the shore.
Following Emilia is the incredible PemTheO.P. Pem is a budding hip hop artist and producer from the west of Melbourne. Representing the Hillside Collective Pem dabbled in styles from classic hip hop to trap and beyond. Creating a unique sound, Pem aims to reach the world through his music and form meaningful connections through song. PemTheO.P’s latest EP “System” and single “Wave Rider” are out now on all platforms.
Lastly, the absolutely unmissable Vikaye. Vikaye is an up-and-coming local artist who loves to connect with people through song. She sings soul and rnb and performs unreleased originals at gigs when she is not singing jazz covers. In the near future she hopes to release her own music for the world to hear.
