Video Premiere: Brooke Taylor drops some cruisy goodness with ‘What If’

That question of existential wondering is what Brooke Taylor explores on ‘What If’, an upbeat acoustic pop gem from an artist who has come off her biggest year yet — wowing crowds at music festivals across the country including St Kilda Festival, Adelaide Fringe, and Swagger.

Taylor writes about the human condition, drawing listeners in with her strong storytelling and raw emotion. Her songs are layered with rhythm guitar melodies, honey-toned vocals and soulful lyrics.

Tying in with the track’s feel-good nature, the clip features a revolving cast of actors that replied to an open casting call along with an array of her friends.

“The idea behind the clip was that the lyrics are relatable to everyone. To all demographics, ages; whatever,” says Taylor. “That’s why I wanted a vast array of characters to show that we’ve all been there; we’re all human.”

Taylor’s second EP Two was released in August of last year and now available on iTunes, Spotify and via her website.

She’ll soon be supporting the Pierce Brothers for a number of shows on their My Tired Mind tour.
