Usher’s career milestones
Usher has sold more than 80 million records worldwide and continues to influence the music industry across genres. Beyond music, he’s starred in film (Hustlers) and TV (The Voice), while also championing youth empowerment through his New Look Foundation, which has supported underserved communities since 1999.
A committed humanitarian and Global Citizen Ambassador, Usher has used his platform to raise awareness for social justice, equity, and environmental causes—performing at numerous global events and even taking part in a 2016 cultural mission to Cuba under the Obama administration.
In 2024, Usher released his ninth studio album, Coming Home, marking three decades of dominance in music, culture and philanthropy.
A triumphant return to Melbourne
Things are clearly going well for the performer extraordinaire ahead of the global tour, despite being listed among the worst Melbourne gigs of all time following Marvel Stadium’s 2018 RnB Fridays fiasco.
Oversold tickets sent punters fleeing due to safety concerns manifesting in fights, hours-long queues and the risk of crowd crush. Labelling it the “worst concert experience ever” and a “waste of money,” thousands banded together to create the Facebook page titled “RnB live Melbourne robbed us…refund our money now”.
Sydneysiders heard their complaints and scrambled to sell their tickets for dirt cheap to avoid suffering the same fate at their upcoming RnB Fridays date.
Tickets for the additional shows will go on sale on 16 May from 12pm, here’s your chance to see the global superstar live – don’t miss out!
