Urthboy announces final ever Australian tour

The Australian hip hop legend is hitting the road for one final headlining tour.

Urthboy will be releasing his seventh studio album Savour on February 24 before embarking on his final ever headlining tour of Australia. He’ll be joined by Noongar wordsmith Dallas Woods and Gamilaraay artist Loren Ryan for his tour of the country that will span all major capital cities and a bunch of regional areas over the span of two months.

Catch him one final time when he heads to Melbourne for a performance at The Night Cat on March 25.

“Music is an outlet for me – it informs my identity and makes up a big part of my purpose,” Urthboy told us back in 2017.

“The frustrations that simmer away; the rush of performing and the tiredness of touring; the expectations that reset every week; the spark that’s always lurking with songwriting; the joy of collaborating; the highs and lows. I could go on for days. I don’t know what I’d do without music.

“I have an insatiable curiosity and a drive to box above my weight. Fuck it, why not. My confidence has only ever been derived from that first sentence – I’ve rarely ever felt entitled to be where I am.”
