A Night With Uncle Jack will see the Aboriginal elder joined by a host of special guests (many of whom remain a tightly kept secret) to join with him in momentous musical performances and storytelling capturing much of his work in film, theatre and television.
The revered Australian was named the Victorian Senior Australian of the Year for 2016 but has also experienced prolonged hardship having been homeless, a heroin addict, a thief and a regular in Victorian prisons.
Acknowledged as the grandfather of Aboriginal theatre in Australia, Uncle Jack co-founded the first Aboriginal theatre company Nindethana in 1972 and has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning over six decades.
