Hot Milk have announced their first ever Australian headline show at Stay Gold in Melbourne on Saturday 3 September.
The duel-fronted band will be embarking on their first trip to our fine shores next month as part of the biggest pop-punk tour of the year with New York pop-rockers State Champs, Phoenix pop-rock titans The Maine and Melbourne’s pop punk quartet Paperweight taking on Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.
But what’s a band to do when they have a day off in the city of laneways? Put on an extra-special intimate show, of course, and Hot Milk’s headline show at Stay Gold will be the divine icing on the group’s debut down under adventures.

Hailing from Manchester, UK, Hot Milk’s Jim Shaw and Han Mee met in a bar in the Northern Quarter in 2016, became fast friends and have lived together ever since. What started over a bottle of wine and an acoustic guitar in their living room, whilst it pissed it down outside, quickly became their vice and way to survive through everyday life.
The Manchester weather coupled with their persistent desire to fill a meaning-shaped hole meant that one song quickly turned into fifteen after running home from work during lunch breaks and staying up all night. Previously tipped to join the Foo Fighters down under in 2022 before plans inevitably changed, the group have rapidly morphed from online wunderkinds to performing their monster hit Teenage Runaways on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this year.
