For one night only, Heidelberg Park oval will be transformed with free live music.
A picnic blanket, good company, a few drinks and live music in the park: that’s the recipe for the perfect summer evening. On Saturday, February 10, Twilight Sounds is hosting six impressive musicians on the stage at the Heidelberg Park Oval for a lovely night of community and good tunes from all different genres.
Following last year’s banger event which featured MzRizk, Mahalia Barnes and Benny Walker, the upcoming 2024 lineup includes legendary Aussie bluesman Ash Grunwald, Melbourne singer-songwriter Georgia Fields, energetic soul band Fulton Street, vintage rock ‘n roll group Riflebirds and Noongar singer Bumpy.

Ash Grunwald will be joining Twilight Sounds as part of his latest national tour. The longstanding musician and storyteller has built up a dedicated fanbase during his 29 years on the road.
With 5 ARIA and 4 AIR award nominations as well as supporting slots for legends including Jack Johnson, The Black Keys, James Brown and Keith Urban under his belt, he’s sure to captivate the crowd with his headlining set at Twilight Sounds.
He’ll be joined by the art-pop songwriter Georgia Fields. Performing with a guitar, a mini-synthesizer and looped vocals, she crafts her dynamic soundscapes with meticulous care. Her most recent album, Hiraeth, was released last year to critical acclaim.
Twilight Sounds welcomes guests of all ages to watch the sun go down in the park while relaxing in the grass or dancing by the stage. Those looking to grab dinner can hit up one of the on-site food trucks with options catering to all tastes and dietary requirements.
Alongside the music, there will also be a host of roving entertainment for the whole family and free creative play for the kids.
