TV On The Radio announce their highly anticipated return to Australian stages with December shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Brooklyn’s influential indie rock outfit makes their first Australian appearances since 2015, bringing two decades of genre-defying music to eager local audiences. TV On The Radio’s comeback follows their recent European and UK tour, plus appearances at Glastonbury and upcoming Corona Capital in Mexico City, demonstrating renewed international activity after years of relative quiet.
Formed in 2001 by vocalist Tunde Adebimpe and multi-instrumentalist Dave Sitek as neighbours in Williamsburg, TV On The Radio carved a singular path through indie music across their 23-year career. Their catalogue spans five acclaimed albums including Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes, Return to Cookie Mountain, Dear Science, Nine Types of Light and Seeds, establishing them among the most influential groups of the 21st century.
