WIth a career spanning over 35 years, venturing amongst many different avenues, Cave is seen as not only one of the greats of Australian music, but music worldwide.
Beginning with Boys Next Door and The Birthday Party, Cave has gone on to make 14 albums with The Bad Seeds, and – most recently – two albums with Grinderman. Consistently brilliant, Cave (and his bands) has been the most continually played artist on triple j across three decades.
Helping to celebrate one of Australia’s finest musical exports is a diverse, passionate and varied line-up including: Abbe May, Adalita, Alex Burnett (Sparkadia), Ben Corbett (Gentle Ben And His Sensitive Side/SixFtHick), Bertie Blackman, Dan Sultan, Jake Stone (Bluejuice), Johnny Mackay (Children Collide), Kram (Spiderbait), Lanie Lane, Lisa Mitchell, Muscles, Tim Rogers (You Am I) and Urthboy (The Herd).\
Joining this star-studded line-up will be a band lead by Sydney writer and musician, Cameron Bruce. Bruce plays with both Paul Kelly and Washington’s bands, and he was also the Musical Director for Cannot Buy My Soul, the acclaimed 2008/9 concerts celebrating the music of Kev Carmody.
The tour will go to most capital cities, and will also play a couple of rural shows in Ballarat and Geelong.
