Tom Gleeson – Gear

  • 28 Mar 2024 — 21 Apr 2024
  • Comedy Theatre

Hard Quiz Overlord, Master of Tasks and Gold Logie Winner Tom Gleeson has taken the Brass Mug on the road for the past two years with Hard Quiz Live. Now he’s giving Melbourne audiences an opportunity to see a master stand-up at work with his brand-new live show, Gear, at the Comedy Theatre from 28 March – 21 April.

Don’t miss the chance to watch this gold-plated, live comedy superstar with his first stand up show since 2020-2021’s sold out tour of Lighten Up. “Stand up is my specialty. Television is a beautiful distraction but I’m looking forward to getting back to doing what I do best. Poking and provoking a live crowd.” – Tom Gleeson.

Tom has performed at every major comedy festival in the world, has been nominated for a Helpmann Award three times, won the Gold Logie for the Most Popular Personality on Australian television and is the host of two smash hit TV shows, Hard Quiz on ABC TV and Taskmaster on Network Ten.

Celia Pacquola: I’m As Surprised As You Are

  • Thu 28 Mar to Sun 7 Apr 2024
  • Comedy Theatre, Melbourne

It’s been 5 years since Celia has done a new stand up hour at MICF and a lot has happened in her life including making a quiche for the first time and also a baby. Come and have a catch up with Celia where only she speaks. She’s got a lot to tell you. And she wants to be in bed by 8.

(Performer’s note: Real talk, this show is going to be a silly, gossipy, catch up hour of personal stories with big white wine energy. I’m not here to waste anyone’s time and I get it if you’d rather have a nap.)

Anne Edmonds – Why Is My Bag All Wet?

  • Sat 6 to Sun 7 Apr 2024
  • Comedy Theatre, Melbourne

Anne Edmonds floods her bag at least twice a week and becoming a mother hasn’t helped this. Where once there was water, now there is milk. Anne’s gagging to get back on stage! So screw your water bottle lids on tight, kick back and for god’s sake, let’s laugh. As seen on Have You Been Paying Attention? and often mistaken for Niddrie’s own Helen Bidou.

Tommy Little – Has A Regular Size Deck

  • Thu 28 Mar to Sun 21 Apr 2024
  • Comedy Theatre, Melbourne

Spend an evening with the reigning deckhead of Australian comedy, Tommy Little. His razor-sharp wit, wild stories and infectious energy is guaranteed to deliver an hour that will leave you in stitches. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable night and book early to avoid disappointment! Tommy is heard nationally on the Hit Network.

Wil Anderson – Wilegitimate

“In 2024 I am setting out on my biggest tour in over 5 years. Come and see my brand-new stand-up show Wilegitimate. The show is definitely about something, and you are definitely going to love it because of reasons. But who am I to tell you what those somethings and reasons are. Come along and decide for yourself. See you there.”

Host of Gruen, Question Everything and podcasts Wilosophy and TOFOP, Wil Anderson is a six-time Melbourne Comedy Festival People’s Choice and Helpmann Award winner. Book today, it will sell out.
