Tom Ballard wrote a page in the history books when he became the youngest ever host of triple j’s iconic breakfast show at the age of 20. After four years of his alarm clock going off as his contemporaries were coming home, Tom has hung up the triple j breakfast headphones to return to his main squeeze – stand-up comedy. Tom reached the national finals of RAW Comedy in 2006, won the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Best Newcomer Award in 2009 and since then has taken the stage at some of the most prestigious gigs across the country and the world, supporting everyone from Wil Anderson to Stephen Merchant.
