Your work holidays might be over, but these Holidays are just beginning…
Here’s the little band that could: The Holidays have secured support dates with Cut Copy and will play that lovely rural festival Groovin’ The Moo.
After playing Laneway Festival recently, as well as Hot BBQ and some other sunny times, their music has been going down a treat over the summer.
Post Paradise, their self-produced album, features a little more electronic flavour than one would have expected from a band that were previously compared to Yves Klein Blue, but it’s gone really well and has won the prestigious Red Bull Award for Best Debut Album of 2010, as well as being shortlisted for the AMP.
They’re also joining the cream of the crop to head over to SXSW in Austin.
Their national tour will feature Ballarat’s Gold Fields, who have been making their own waves around town.
They play The East Brunswick Club on Saturday April 9. They then play a million other places, Groovin’ The Moo, and even The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, UK.
