Synth rock outfit Voxneon is set to transform Brunswick Ballroom into a 1982 London nightclub with their new show Fade to Grey, celebrating the icons of the new romantic movement and early electronic music pioneers.
The Australian tribute act, known for their meticulous recreation of 80s sounds using vintage hardware synthesizers and period-correct effects, will perform hits from an extensive catalogue including Visage, Ultravox, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Howard Jones, and Depeche Mode.
Building on their reputation for delivering what audiences have described as “musically and visually compelling” experiences, the band combines authentic instrumental arrangements with synchronized video content and theatrical lighting design.

The performance promises to showcase material from influential electronic acts including OMD, Simple Minds, Pet Shop Boys, and Gary Numan, with the band’s commitment to authentic sound reproduction extending to their use of original-era equipment.
Voxneon’s attention to detail in recreating the new romantic era has established them as leading interpreters of the genre in Australia. Their latest production continues this tradition, aiming to capture both the musical essence and the atmospheric experience of the early 80s club scene.
The Fade to Grey tour marks another chapter in the band’s exploration of the new wave movement, with their previous shows earning recognition for bridging the gap between tribute act and immersive historical experience.
General admission tickets are currently available at $39. The venue will open its doors and kitchen at 7pm, with the performance beginning at 8:30pm. Book here.
