Molto bene.
If you’re looking for a fresh start but aren’t the best with saving up cash, this small region in the south of Italy might have the solution.
As The Guardian reports, the Italian region of Molise is offering interested travellers €700 a month for three years to set up camp in one of its many villages. The region’s population has been struggling to grow, and this scheme is an attempt to stimulate the local economy.
What’s the catch? Well, newcomers have to pledge they’ll set up a business in the region. So if you were looking for an excuse to start up that quirky business of yours, this would be it. Also, the village you choose to settle in must have fewer than 2,000 residents at the time.
Pack your bags, we’ll see you there.
