Nerve returns this Friday with Kyiv's Sopik, rising star Lola Voss and groove specialist Séarlait.
Nerve hosts Ukrainian producer Sopik this Friday alongside Lola Voss and Séarlait at Brown Alley.
Sopik started as a boxer before music took over. The Kyiv-based producer, real name Ihor Sopinskyi, launched his career in 2013 after hearing Paul Kalkbrenner’s album Berlin Calling, which flipped a switch from sport to sound. By 2015 he’d founded Finder Records, a hard techno label that hit number one on Beatport’s Hard Techno chart with its debut release. His productions have clocked up over 100 tracks in Beatport’s top 100, with releases on labels including Hekate and Blackworks.

Lola Voss joins the bill as one of Australia’s fastest-rising names in hard techno and hard dance. The Melbourne-based producer has been building momentum across local and international stages, with releases on Berlin’s Selected label.
Her sets blur the lines between hard techno and hard dance, creating a hybrid sound that’s caught attention both here and overseas. Séarlait rounds out the headliners with genre-fluid selections that pull from house, dub and tech, bringing a more groove-focused approach to the night’s programming.
Nerve runs every Friday night at Brown Alley, programming hard techno and hard bounce across two rooms. The venue’s outdoor rooftop gives punters space to catch their breath between sets, while the state of the art drum and bass sound system handles the low end.
