This fiery new restaurant is bringing smoky Australian cuisine to Melbourne

Contemporary Australian cuisine, reimagined.

Tucked beneath historic Invicta House on Flinders Lane, II.II.VI (Two-Two-Six) is a 115-seat, fire-driven contemporary Australian restaurant, brought to Melbourne CBD by the team from Ministry of Crab.

Led by Executive Chef Kerry Lam and Head Chef Haitham Richani, the venue champions a flame-first philosophy, where parilla grills, hibachi and charcoal ovens transform premium Australian produce into bold, smoke-infused dishes.

II.II.VI invites you to experience contemporary premium dining with open fire cooking, innovative cocktails, and a thoughtfully curated wine list.

Start with their house-made bread; soft, warm, and baked to perfection, served with a little something on the side that’ll have you coming back for more.

With luxe bar snacks, rare steaks and a Chef’s Table menu, II.II.VI delivers a moody, sensory experience made for indulgent nights and unforgettable meals.

It’s steak, it’s skewers, it’s seafood, it’s delicious. There’s truly so much to explore, especially if you like your meat.

The venue opened it’s doors just last week, and it’s safe to say this could be the next lush spot to join the list of Melbourne’s best restaurants.
