Onesixone LIVE relaunches with Sunday Honey tonight!

Onesixone in Prahran is relaunching its inaugural live series on Thursday the 1st of August.

This beloved series started in the 2000s as Shake Some Action and has been rebranded throughout the years. After a long hiatus over lockdowns, the Live series is finally back on the first Thursday of every month. Over the years, this series has presented artists such as Wolfmother, Pania, Honey, Mason Dane & LAY. On the 1st of August they return with Sunday Honey, supported by Erica Avenue.

Sunday Honey are a four-piece alternative indie/rock band who describe their sound as a cross between honey soul with a mixture of old rock. Based between the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne, Australia they consist of members Elliott Willis (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Fox DeRoche (drums, vocals), Max Hilli (bass guitar) and CJ (lead guitar).

Forming in late 2021, they’ve already had great success, gaining the attention of many from around Australia. They’ve played many gigs at some iconic Melbourne venues such as; the Leadbeater Hotel, the Toff in Town, and the Espy, as well as interstate shows at venues like the Crowbar. They’ve had the opportunity to play alongside iconic artists such as; Tones And I, Ziggy Alberts, Hockey Dad, The Terrys, Sam Fischer, Old Mervs, and many more.

Guests can also stay in the venue for FREE for the club afterparty hosted by onesixone Thursday’s featuring Harvey M.
