This exhibition celebrates Melbourne’s most gloriously shit gardens

As Melbourne welcomes back the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show for 2017, ShitGardens return to work – scouring the suburbs for grated parchments, disgustingly symmetrical arrangements and those little tree spout things which pop out of the middle of the lawn for no good reason.

In 2017, they call on the help of their Instagram followers for guidance – to be channelled through a kitsch-inspired pop-up bar and tapas. Both original and submitted content will be showcased with all proceeds going to the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre.
