Visual artist Kuriouskat will transform the space with custom artworks, while Say Cheese Footscray provides the food offerings. Drink specials from event partners Tequila Tromba and Estrella Damm will keep the festivities flowing throughout the eight-hour party.
The event series represents a growing recognition of Melbourne’s Latin American and Filipino cultural influence, with each month’s installment curated by different collectives from the community. Kapwa, February’s hosts, have built a reputation for championing Filipino arts and culture through their events and initiatives.
