The shows in Sydney and Melbourne sold out almost immediately, fans eager to get the first taste of the band’s incoming second album, Coexist. Jamie xx’s intimate solo performances also sold out within minutes.
Promoters Handsome Tours thanked The xx fans for the highly positive response, and apologised to those who missed out. However also promised that they were already working on bringing the trio back out for a larger tour in 2013.
