Hot off revealing the supports for their national tour, The Wombats have announced they will be playing an intimate charity event, War Child Presents, in Sydney later on this month.
War Child Presents will aim to support children caught in war conflicts. This is the first time the event series has come to Australia, after hosting a number of gigs in the UK. Tickets to the gig are only available through a prize draw, which is entered by making a $10 donation to the War Child charity.
The Liverpool legends will be touring Down Under this month, with support acts from Cloud Control and Eves Karydas. In any case, it just goes to show our obsession with the band doesn’t seem to end.
