I tried to Google The Toxic Avenger for some interesting tidbits to put in this piece, but all that came up was an insane movie from the eighties about a vengeful nerd thrown into a barrel of toxic waste, emerging as a deformed creature of superhuman strength and size. Now that I think about it, it’s an interesting comparison to make.
