Jess Locke, The Teskey Brothers and Amaru Tribe join The Jungle Giants, Tim Finn and Kate Miller-Heidke who already feature among The Lost Lands’ must-see acts – the line-up of which promises to be one of the most diverse in Australia this festival season.
“It’s important that The Lost Lands supports and celebrates all forms of diversity in the music scene, ensuring the next generation of Australians are exposed to a variety of musical talent,” said Lost Lounds founder Simon Daly.
As well as the musical additions, Lost Lands has pledged that the festival will be single-use plastic free by 2019.
The move has got the support of local blues kings The Teskey Brothers.
“We all grew up in the gorgeous, natural surroundings of the Yarra Valley and are really passionate about protecting the environment,” said the band. “We’re stoked to hear The Lost Lands will be 95% single-use plastic free this year. I think it’s the first music festival we’ve performed at to achieve this.”
