The Seven Ups (@thesevenups) are your soundtrack to the dancefloor at the end of the world. The bands new album is a deep dive in to the lesser-known-places of instrumental music. Singles: OldWorld Monkeys and Monoliths are a mature take on the bands classic heavy-funk sound that hasseen them become stalwarts on the Melbourne music scene over the last 13 years. Meanwhile, the band stretches out on the long-form instrumental tracks A Free Blowing Wind and A Cosmic Scale, taking listeners on a meandering journey from deep psychedelic grooves, to lush plateaus and onwards to aggressive fuzz rock. The Seven Ups have become a regular on the touring circuit playing festivals including Meredith, Womadelaide, Blues on Broadbeach, Riverboats, Queenscliff and more.
