Melbourne live-music favourites The Senegambian Jazz Band are delivering a double set at the Belleville this Sunday.
The free show kicks off at 9pm, with DJ’s Lachlan Stuckey and Ryan Berkely warming up the place before the West African-inspired five-piece take to the stage at 11pm.
Monday’s a public holiday, so it’s a good excuse to get down to the Belleville for a long weekend boogie.
“Our sound appeals to a wide variety of people, young and old,” said the band. “Each individual hears a different melody, instrument or rhythm at the same time and unites together in the enjoyment of movement, dance and feeling alive.”
