Missy Higgins, San Cisco, Emma Louise, Paul Kelly and John Butler are all set to lend their talents to the event and triple j’s Zan Rowe will take on hosting duties. The all-star lineup will take the stage at the Athenaeum Theatre in early October as part of The Seed’s first official fundraising campaign. All proceeds from the campaign will go towards helping musicians in their quest to become self-sustained professionals.
The concert will run with The Seed’s month-long Pozible campaign, which kicks off on September 1. Rewards for donations include offerings from the like of Harry Angus, Marlon Williams, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Mama Kin and Ruby Boots as well as VIP passes to each St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Australia, digital marketing and PR mentoring sessions with industry heavyweights and rare paraphernalia from Gotye, Temper Trap, Clare Bowditch and more.
