Naarm power-chord couple The Nation Two launch their debut single Read The Room at the Oldie on June 2nd. Partially recorded at Bakehouse, their self-produced single was mastered in Chicago by Bob Weston. Forming in late 2022, they have already supported interstate bands Chimers (NSW) and Baba Yaga (WA). They’re also looking forward to taking their multiple fuzz pedals interstate next month.
As an added bonus, it’s Jo’s birthday so the band picked three of their favourite bands to play. Affordable Repayments, Thee Cha Cha Chas and Snub are all killing it at the moment, and it’s super exciting to have them on the lineup.
There will be a small number of 7″ vinyl singles available on the night, hand-cut by genius and dreamboat Andy Burnout.
