Featuring seven critically-acclaimed independent cabaret shows, the 2017 Melbourne Cabaret Fringe Festival is focusing on productions that push boundaries, take risks, make social commentary, play with format and run for under an hour in an effort to help define ‘Melbourne’ cabaret.
The program covers a variety of shows including Raising ‘Ell!, an updated approach which sees the seven deadly sins interpreted as social media accounts, Yada, Yada, Yada which showcases the best of 90’s sitcoms through musical comedy, and Finding Felix, a show focusing on self-discovery that’s already sold half of all available tickets.
