Fresh off a sold-out tour and riding high on the success of their critically acclaimed second album, Irish Rock ‘n’ Roll, The Mary Wallopers are set to unleash their energetic and floor-shaking performances on Australian audiences.

The band, formed by multi-instrumentalist Charles Hendy, his brother Andrew, and friend Sean McKenna, quickly rose to fame during lockdown with their livestreams and emerged as a full seven-piece ensemble, including members Seamas Hyland, Finian O’Connor, Roisin Barrett, and Ken Mooney.

Their new album has been praised for revitalizing Irish trad for a new generation, offering rowdy reinterpretations of traditional ballads that cover themes of sex, devilry, and, of course, drink. Irish Rock ‘n’ Roll captures the chaos, humour, and excitement of The Mary Wallopers’ live shows, showcasing both their dark Irish punk folk and the emotional depth of traditional ballads passed down through generations.

Tickets go on sale Friday 1 December. Frontier Members can grab their tickets early with a presale starting on Thursday 30 November. Visit frontiertouring.com/themarywallopers for details.
