Words by Staff Writer

We've officially been belting out Mr. Brightside for 20 years with The Killers' debut defining album Hot Fuss being celebrated this November/December in Australia.

The Killers are returning to Australia this November and December, bringing their iconic albums Hot Fuss and Rebel Diamonds to life on stage. Known for their anthemic hits like Somebody Told Me, Jenny Was A Friend of Mine, Smile Like You Mean It, and All These Things That I’ve Done, Hot Fuss was the album that launched the Las Vegas indie rockers into global fame. Years later, their success continued with tracks such as When You Were Young, Human, Spaceman, Runaways, The Man, and My Own Soul’s Warning, all featured on Rebel Diamonds.

The Killers will perform stadium shows across the country, with Rebel Diamonds taking centre stage in Townsville, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, while Hot Fuss will receive a full-play treatment in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Killers are no strangers to Australian shores. The band became fan favourites after their universally acclaimed AFL Grand Final performance in 2017. Their latest single, Bright Lights, has been praised by Rolling Stone as “anthemic” and by NME as “euphoric.” They’ve been performing the new track during their sold-out Hot Fuss residency in Las Vegas, receiving widespread praise.

With seven albums under their belt and an eighth on the way, The Killers have reinvigorated the indie rock scene, known for their electrifying live shows and Brandon Flowers’ commanding stage presence. Their 2022 performance at A Day On The Green in Mt Duneed cemented their legacy as rock icons.

Presales begin Tuesday 10 September via frontiertouring.com/thekillers. General on-sale tickets will be available from Thursday 12 September at 4 pm local time. Don’t miss your chance to witness The Killers live this November and December!
