This year, the event promises to double in size – sending a whopping 1,000 rafts down the Yarra as opposed to last year’s 500.
Seated in either one or two-person vessels, the course is set to float from Hawthorn Rowing Club and journey a few kilometres downstream from Yarra Bank Reserve.
Plus, this year’s event is rumoured to feature live music – with a band playing along the course to provide some seafaring tunes.
Each ticket includes a boat (which they’ll let you keep), a set of oars, a life jacket, bottled water, a bailer, a rubbish bag and a small waterproof bag.
