Taka Honda of Little Red has formed his own band, a cross-dressing quartet with a simple twang rock sound. Their debut single is pretty ridiculous, not to mention confusing. “I am a woman, but I was born as a man,” it begins, “I like young men, their naked bodies make me want to cry…I am a homosexual, but please let me be. I am a homosexual, but please let me love.” Pretty sure he’s describing a transgender heterosexual, but whatever. Either way, the lyrics suck gratuitous, graceless balls, and can only be appreciated as a weird stumble through ESL. Is it meant to be funny? If so, the joke is in spectacularly bad taste.
