“Tom Pitts, Kate Monger, Sam Lund, Julian Spiller, Nick Trescowthick, Daniel Garrood – the band’s called The Harlots.”
And what do you do?
“We play a swampy kind of blues rock music.”
When did you start doing that?
“We’ve been playing together for about a year now.”
Why did you start doing that?
“All of us played instruments in our rooms by ourselves and we thought we may as well be more social and do it together.”
Do you think you’re good at doing that?
“We’re getting there.”
If you weren’t doing that, what would you be doing?
“Sitting in our rooms, playing by ourselves, then going out for coffee and talking about how we should really start a band.”
What makes you happiest about what you’re doing?
“Watching our friends dancing to the music we’re playing.”
And what makes you unhappiest about what you’re doing?
“Trying to fit two keyboards, two guitars, a bass, drums and numerous amplifiers on tiny stages.”
What’s you proudest moment of doing what you do?
“Probably getting played on the radio. That was a real blast.”
