The album follows the band’s last release, I’m Sorry Sir, That Riff’s Been Taken, which was a massive success, reaching #4 on the ARIA Album chart in 2021.

Ripper ’23, the band’s 14th studio album, is the first album made from start to finish by the current line-up, which includes new member Tim Rogers.

Unlike their previous album, which was mostly written before Rogers joined, Ripper ’23 is a 100% Hard-Ons creation. The album showcases the band’s stylistic versatility, with tracks ranging from the punky Apartment For Two to the riff-heavy In Falls Everything.

The album’s first single, Apartment For Two, is set to be released on April 20. The song is a perfect introduction to the album, featuring big hooks and a surging sonic power, as well as some sweet production touches. Fans can expect the same level of energy and creativity from the rest of the album, which promises to be another classic from one of Australia’s most iconic bands.

The Ripper ’23 tour will take place from June 22 to July 8, sandwiched between the album’s release and the band’s 20th European tour. Fans in Melbourne will have the chance to see The Hard-Ons live on June 24, where they’ll be performing tracks from Ripper ’23 as well as old favourites. With their signature blend of punk rock, pop, and metal, The Hard-Ons are sure to put on an unforgettable show.
