The Dare is the solo project of vocalist, songwriter and producer Harrison Patrick Smith. Known for his breakout hit Girls, he released his debut album What’s Wrong With New York? earlier this year to widespread critical acclaim. The album has cemented his reputation as a rising star in the music industry.
2024 has been a landmark year for Smith, who earned his first UK #1 with Guess, a Grammy-nominated collaboration with Charli XCX and Billie Eilish. His explosive live performances and iconic DJ sets, honed at his signature party Freakquencies, have made him a sought-after artist. He has also soundtracked events for high-profile brands like Gucci and Celine.
Smith’s debut North American headline tour sold out nationwide, followed by a second sold-out run across the UK and Europe. Now, he brings his dynamic sound and electrifying energy to Australian audiences for the first time.
