This is a rare opportunity to witness the band's full force, sonic assault and experience their notorious and explosive live show.

The band’s live shows come with a reputation for amplifiers catching on fire and sweat dripping from the ceiling, so expect nothing short of a high-octane set from The D4. They’ll be performing live at Melbourne’s iconic venue, The Tote on March 30.

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

The D4’s critically acclaimed debut album, 6TWENTY, turned 21 in October 2022 and to celebrate, the band re-released the album and embarked on a tour that now includes their Australian show.

The band took on the world between 1998 and 2006, touring relentlessly and playing at various clubs and festivals across the US, UK, Japan, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. They played alongside legendary heroes and contemporary upstarts, including the New York Dolls, Iggy and the Stooges, Guitar Wolf, and the Hives.

The band was formed by vocalist/guitarists Dion Lunadon and Jimmy Christmas, who put together a collection of songs and built a four-piece combo, featuring founding members English Jake and Rich Mixture. The band was later enhanced by members Vaughan Williams on bass and Beaver Pooley on drums. The setlist will include classics like Rock & Roll Motherfucker, Party, Come On!, Get Loose and Ladies Man.

To commemorate the anniversary of 6TWENTY, Warner Music NZ and Rhythmethod will be pressing a limited run of 6TWENTY ONE on 180g vinyl, accompanied by a new take on the album cover and extensive liner notes written by Dion and Jimmy.

The limited edition vinyl will be available exclusively at OH! JEAN RECORDS in Melbourne, and fans can also expect a slew of merch available at all shows while stocks last.

It all goes down at The Tote on March 30. Grab your tickets by heading here.
