The Cure’s latest album, Songs of a Lost World, will receive an exclusive official launch event in 5.1 surround sound at Odeon Richmond in Melbourne.
Presented in collaboration with Universal Music Australia, this event promises an immersive experience for fans, combining music, visuals, and live DJ performances on Melbourne Cup Eve, Monday, 4 November 2024.
Attendees will have the chance to hear Songs of a Lost World in 5.1 surround sound, a format designed to deliver an audio experience that’s more immersive than traditional stereo sound. Adding to the atmosphere, the event will feature The Cure’s BBC performance of the album, displayed on multiple screens throughout the venue for a full audiovisual experience.
