To celebrate its 30th birthday, The Cure will be performing their iconic album Disintegration at Vivid LIVE as part of this year’s Vivid Sydney festival. It’s the first time since 2016 they’ve made an appearance Down Under.
For four nights only, the UK outfit will be rocking out at the Sydney Opera House. Disintegration was the album that cemented The Cure as a household name and is their highest praised release to date. Over three decades, the album has sold more than 3 million copies around the globe and influenced so many high-profile artists since.
The five-piece are the first act announced for Vivid LIVE 2019, and if they’re anything to go by, the rest of the lineup is going to be absolutely huge. Tickets to The Cure can only be nabbed through an online ballot, open between Tuesday February 19 and Sunday February 24.
